The Light Red Acraea (''Acraea nohara'') is a butterfly of the Nymphalidae family. It is found from KwaZulu-Natal north through Zimbabwe to Kenya. The wingspan is 40–48 mm for males and 43–50 mm for females. Adults are on wing from October to November and from January to March in southern Africa.〔Woodhall, S.
